Hey Uni Students (and anyone creepy and sad enough to randomly want to read juicy info about uni :P),

So I'm one of the contributors to this page and wanted to give you some background info on the person behind some of these posts. Yes, these posts are valid and useful... I do know a thing or two about uni and especially uni lifestyle considering (sadly) that I basically live on campus - I study here, party here (but Ranch definitely trumps Ubar) and work here at the uni Sports and Aquatics Centre as a Learn To Swim Instructor, Swimming Coach and Swim School Supervisor and also work at the uni Sports and Activities Hub.

Firstly, as a student I am in my second year of studying a Bachelor of Marketing and Media. I am sort of majoring in the media side of things in film-making (specialising in Producing) and in marketing I plan to specialise in advertising. My current (but probably not even close to reality) career aspiration: to become a Producer in an Advertising Production Company or Agency.

I have involved myself in a few sporting societies, namely the Water Polo Club and Social Netball sessions. Both are great fun and very social while being active of course as well.

As an employee in the Sports and Activities Hub, I run social sessions and pop-up events like basketball shooting competitions and ice-hockey demos, I set up giant activities in the Hub Atrium like Chess, Connect Four, Jenga and Ping Pong, and I am available during my shift to answer answer sport-related questions. Because I work at MUSAC as well, I really am you go to girl here for Macquarie Uni sport.

Hope you feel confident now that (my blogs at least) are backed up by some experience in the topics we shall discuss. My team are know-it-alls as well, so enjoy!
